FORM: White Putty
HEALTH HAZARD SUMMARY: Irritating to eyes and skin. Risk of damage
to eyes.
PHYSICAL PROPERTIES: Bulk density 1300-1400 kg/m . Specific gravity
1.3-1.6.
Soluble in water.
REACTIVE DATA: Stable. Minimise exposure to air to avoid degradation.
Reacts vigorously with strong acids. Will attack Aluminium, Lead and Brass.
HEALTH HAZARD DATA: Irritating to skin, in contact with eyes may
cause pain and impairment of vision if not treated immediately. Swallowing
of small amounts is unlikely to cause any reaction. Large doses may result
in the irritation of the gastrointestinal tract.
EMERGENCY AND FIRST AID: After contact with the skin wash with plenty
of water. After contact with eyes the particles should be removed and
the eye irrigated for at least 10 minutes. Continue irrigation until medical
attention can be obtained. If ingested do not induce vomiting but give
copious amounts of water to drink.

PRECAUTIONS
IN HANDLING: Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
STORAGE: Store in tubs. Ensure that it does not come in to contact
with other chemicals with which it might react.
WASTE DISPOSAL: Dispose of to an approved tip.

and labelling of dangerous substances Regs. 1984.
